Transit Police report a man they arrested for an alleged sexual attack on a T bus in Brighton turned out to be wanted for a similar assault at the Park Street T stop - and has 11 other outstanding warrants in similar cases. Read more.

A Randolph man with a criminal record going back more than 20 years threatened to stab a woman who didn't want to talk with him at a Silver Line bus stop on Monday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

State Police report a Cambridge man heading north in the O'Neill Tunnel lost control of his Jeep Compass, crashed into a wall and died after the Jeep flipped onto the passenger side, shortly after midnight on Saturday.

State Police identify the driver as Robert Smith, 59, and say he was not wearing his seat belt. The crash remains under investigation, State Police say.

The annual Big Day Boston bird watch in Boston Proper on Saturday ended with 66 species of birds spotted from the Public Garden to Boston Harbor, including one bald eagle competing with Hitchcockian numbers of gulls to gulp down some herring.

The MBTA reports that signal issues at Government Center mean Green B and C trains are currently making Park Street the end of the line.

The MBTA has scheduled a press conference at Orient Heights at 3:45 p.m. to go over "the completion of critical track work" on the Blue Line. T officials might want to find another way to get there than the Blue Line itself, because at 12:46 p.m, it reported delays of up to 20 minutes due to a Blue Line that kicked the bucket at Aquarium.

Park Street suspect

Update: Transit Police report they've IDed the guy.

Transit Police report they are looking for a guy they say started harassing a woman on the Green Line at Kenmore and finished by punching her in the left side of her face at Park Street, shortly before 10 p.m. on April 17. Read more.

A company renovating the skyscraper at 1 Lincoln St. in Downtown Crossing yesterday won the right to buy a liquor license for a currently unoccupied space to serve what it says is a growing demand for full service restaurants as more people return to office work by opening at least one restaurant, but possibly more. Alvaro Larrama, a bouncer at the Sons of Boston bar on Union Street, pleaded guilty today to manslaughter for the March, 2022 stabbing death of Daniel Martinez, a Marine veteran from Chicago in town to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

NBC Boston reports Boston Police move in around 2 a.m. and dragged out students protesting the situation in Gaza and tents from Boylston Place. Emerson canceled classes for today. Some video.

Meanwhile, Harvard students are in their second day of an encampment in Harvard Yard. The school is barring non-Harvard people from the Yard.

Streetsblog Massachusetts reports on the cruiser crash Saturday afternoon on the sidewalk in front of the Granary Burying Ground on Tremont Street, taking out a traffic light and damaging a hydrant, but not hitting anybody. The officer was on his way down Tremont to the Burger King, where other officers managed to arrest a man while he was still trying to hold the place up at gunpoint.

The BPDA this week sternly wagged its administrative finger at Millennium Partners for shutting a supposedly public part of its Winthrop Square tower to the public on weekends even though it had promised to keep "The Connector" open every day of the week as part of its conditions for winning BPDA approval to replace a condemned city parking garage with a sleek 21st-century complex of offices, luxury apartments and restaurants. I spent my last evening at the old Boston Garden with Pearl Jam Cobain died a few days before and no one knew what to expect. The show started in pitch black, the 1st song Release. Epic. Saw them next night at Orpheum.
