Dude, where's my bong?Boston Police hope to smoke out two guys who made off with $5,000 worth of glass bongs from the Joint, 1080 Commonwealth Ave., on Thursday.
Police say the two, both white and dressed all in black, smashed their way through the store's front door to commit what the police call "Commercial B&E (Head shop)." If somebody offers you a discount bong, contact District D-14 detectives at 617-343-4256.

You'd be surprised, Sam. A decent bong can run anywhere from $50 to $400, more if you want to get really crazy. Still, that equals a LOT of bongs.
The victims of the theft should check craigslist. These goons need to hawk their stolen goods somewhere, and most stupid criminals these days seem to think that it's the best way to sell "hot" items.

So the prices tend to reflect this, and if you want to go really crazy there are several bong manufacturers that will gladly take orders for custom bongs directly in case you want a very specific set of features (ice notches, diffuser, size/location of carb hole, thickness of the glass, color, shape, etc..).

Nah, I grew up around a lot of people who were addicted to smoking all sorts of things. Tobacco, weed, crack, you name it. I was frightened that I'd become addicted, and also wasn't interested in the lost lung capacity and other potential health problems.
Everybody should be free to do their own thing, I just was never interested in pot, except for some of the music & art associated with it all.
