The Globe reports an Allston man was arrested yesterday on charges he held up a Brookline bank barely a half mile from his Allston apartment.
Following the holdup at the Sovereign Bank branch at 487 Harvard St., authorities IDed the suspect as the same big-eared man wanted for holding up a Bank of America branch at 1237 Comm. Ave. in Allston twice over the past month.
He allegedly tried a third time on Tuesday but was refused money by a teller, the FBI said.
The Globe reports he was was arrested at his apartment at 1120 Comm. Ave. in Allston.
