or will that reduce its strength beyond a safe level?

Does it really matter?

On another note, the academy is going to be busy.

Should be fired just as they are in the private sector. We're talking firefighters and EMTs here.... Only with the government would this be excusable.

I don't trust bankers to be giving me CPR or other emergency medical care, I expect BFD and Cataldo Ambulance to be. The difference being Cataldo (or whatever companies involved) are firing EMTs, and BFD is not.

Give me a break... can't believe you people are supporting people involved in public safety just faking documents like this...

As for the person who claimed I'm "tea party", yeah right... I'm not calling for privatized fire departments... I just expect people to be held accountable when they should be! I hope you get some bum who doesn't care about you and just wants their check and benefits. Is a little test or a simple refresher lesson going to make someone miserable? Get real. They should do their jobs.

What about the couple hundred of Cops and in particular, the State Troopers that were on the "Secret" list?

. . . in the private sector this is business as usual and wouldn't even be seen as something wrong- just SOP. We read about this sort of thing once in while- like after a major mess up- how safety procedures were glossed over and papered over and winked at- how all manner of things supposed to be done- were not and signed off on by managers who lied. Yeah- it's only government. Uggh.

And I never had a job where I was required to do some foolish stupid "review" that I and everyone else knew was a waste of time and just a consultant's paycheck. Yeah- that never happens.

Read up to my reply to the anon. Maybe none of you took the time to read up but private companies (I assume Cataldo, Action, etc...?) are actually taking some action and firing these idiots. They should do their job the way it's supposed to be done. Isn't that the point of applying for a job? Jesus Christ.

I work in the human services, in programs that are funded by the state and usually required by state and federal laws, and if we screw up, they fire us. We're all at-will employees, like most employees who don't work for the government.
