Two East Boston men stabbed in Chelsea: One dead, one critical

UPDATE: Oscar Gutierrez-Nunes, 27, of Chelsea, was arrested today on murder charges for the death of Daniel Hernandez-Martinez of East Boston, the Suffolk County DA's office reports. Gutierrez-Nunes is also charged with stabbing the second man found at the scene and a third man who showed up at Mass. General today.

Two two men were stabbed around 1 a.m. at Everett Avenue and Carter Street, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

One man, 24, died at Whidden Memorial Hospital; the other man, 29, is in critical condition at Mass. General, the DA's office says. One of the men was found lying in the street, the other in a vehicle nearby.
