They really shouldn't have the eggs and the milk just sitting out like that!

That bread doesn't look very edible, I suspect a trap.

What are we running out of cows? Sheesh!

We're gonna dddiiiieeeeee!!!

:)

The shells are unnaturally shiny, and one of them seems to be adhering to the milk container.

..to stockpile vanilla and cinnamon, too!

No, no, you're supposed to do that while the French Toast Alert is at Low!

Hyde Park not Readville

is in Hyde Park

Readville is part of Hyde Park, so you can say that something in Readville is in Hyde Park. But it is only part of Hyde Park, so you can't say the inverse. The Wallgreens in question is, in my opinion, not in Readville, but closer to being in Cleary Square, so I agree with the other commenter.

This is closer to Cleary Square? If it were any closer to Readville, it'd be in Milton. Are you maybe thinking of the Rite-Aid near the Shaw's?

If it was on the other side of the railroad tracks, it would be Readville. But it's not. Cleary sq has nothing to do with it. The store looks across the street to Fairmont - Readville is Walcott sq plus the district on the other side of the tracks between Dedham and Hyde Park proper. Anything to the east of the Neponset is not Readville. Paul's Bridge is in, but just barely.

But NOT because it's close to Cleary Square, because it isn't :-). I will bow before folks who obviously grew up there to know what the border between Boston's southern frontier and the rest of Hyde Park is - and curse both Google and Mapquest (which Walgreens uses), because they put the place on the other side of the river, which I should have realized was wrong to begin with.

Do NOT get me started on the whole Truman Parkway/Truman Highway thing. OK, I got me started: If you search on Google Maps for 1025 Truman Parkway, you will throw Google for a loop - it won't show you the exact address. If you change that to 1025 Truman Highway, then you see where the Stop & Shop and the Walgreens are - on a map that has "Truman Parkway" running alongside the road.

Your google maps link points pretty far south of where the Walgreens is IRL on the other side of the Neponset, but geez, what nitpickers some people are.

Not from Hyde Park, are you?

.

That Stop and Shop is opposite Fairmont - I've never heard anyone call it Readville. Just up the street from Walcott, but not Readville. The railroad tracks and the Neponset River separate Truman hwy. from Readville.

I only eat brown eggs, because brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are fresh!

in my french toast because... etc what he said.
