The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for pretty much the entire state for Monday, which means we're at high risk for bad wild fires, due to a combination of dry ground conditions, low humidity and high winds.

For a bit?
Just for a bit? When will it be OK in your mind to throw flaming butts out the window again? I say never!
Right?
With or without the fire hazard in play, it's still littering.
But but but that's Fascist!

You should just mind your own business. Why don't you just not put anything flammable or anything that could be injured anywhere near where I might decide to throw my cigarette. Its about MY freedom! ME ME ME ME! Just move your property away from where I irresponsibly indulge my addiction because my RIGHT to fling my lit ciggy is more important than your freedom not have your house burn down and SHUT UP!!!

Freedom to let anything fly from your car!!!!
I had a lit cigarette fly into my window on the highway once. I was driving a VW bus, trust me i wasn't tail-gaiting. Ever since i've been even more vigilant about avoiding jetsam on the highway.
I've had many discussions with people claiming ice, butts and anything else thrown out of a car will immediately fall to the ground and cannot possibly harm another driver or start a roadside fire.
The denial or sheer ignorance is boggling. I usually win the argument when I mention drafting in Nascar.
