That's one way to ask somebody to the prom

Sky prom

From Wellesley to Allston this morning, people reported seeing a plane write "Prom?" and a heart in the sky. Andrea Porto in Allston captured the skywriting from her window overlooking Corey Hill in Brookline.

After this week's events, seeing an amateur skywriter was a bit unnerving, but I was glad to see it was something happy!

Alex Jones took video of the skywriting.

By the time I saw it, I was wondering who paid to write POB over the city. Nice to see skywriting not advertising a casino for once, at least.

No doubt many kids besides your client took advantage of this opportunity.

Just a formal dance party for older teens - anybody know what is up with the "trend" in over-the-top Prom invitations? Some of the kids I know are caught up in it and it is driving their parents nuts - some of the "ideas" vastly exceed (in cost and/or execution time) the effort one used to put into a marriage proposal.
