Hate to say it but looks like a hook up gone wrong.

I worked for a hook up website in Customer Service for almost a 7 years, and the stories I have to tell about that. Similar story to this one. (and of course the big story that was featured on America's Most Wanted of a guy who flew to Florida from AZ met a guy off our website, then disappeared)

Safety first folks. I cannot tell you how many times I've heard this story. Sorry, I wouldn't invite a strange over to handcuff me on first meet. I know people get a case of the hornies and only think with their "other" head sometimes and all common sense goes out the window. Sad, I feel sorry for the victim. He probably was just looking for a good time, didn't get one, and got robbed instead.

(on a different personal note, after working for the hook up website.. I will no longer meet guys online on a whim. We gotta talk for a long time, then meet up publicly. Yeah maybe I'm a scaredy cat, but when you've been on the receiving end of a phone call from an irate customer one too many times who was robbed or worse by a trick, you just learn to be always play it safe)

Kidnapping. He's in BIG trouble.

Because the story sounded like consensual handcuffing and blindfolding, until the much younger guy grabbed the wallet and car keys and took off. Is that kidnapping? The old fool is lucky. Much worse could have very easily happened.

Consent isn't a blank check, and it can be revoked. Giving consent to be restrained and presumably have sexual relations does not give consent to be robbed while handcuffed.
