The Canadians come into port

HMCS William Hall docked next to the USS Constitution

Adam Castiglioni looked across Boson Harbor this afternoon at HMCS William Hall, the Royal Canadian Navy's newest patrol ship, docked next to the USS Constitution at the Charlestown Navy Yard.

The ship is named for William Hall, the first Black person and the first Nova Scotian to be awarded the Victoria Cross, for his actions during the Indian Rebellion in 1857. His parents were former American slaves who had escaped from their Maryland slave owners during the War of 1812.

It's kind of bloated because radar loves sharp angles and surfaces perpendicular to the water.
