Citizen complaint of the day: Something actually running fast at Forest Hills T station

One side of the clock at Forest Hills is about 10 minutes fast

A concerned citizen files a 311 complaint about one of the clock faces in the tower at the Forest Hills MBTA station:

Clock at forest hills facing Franklin park direction is about ten minutes fast.

Some things run fast at Forest Hills. Amtrak usually cracks 120 mph by that point. The Commuter Rail could run that fast (or close to it) if the T ever wanted to join the 21st century.

a disaster in the making when the AMTRAK trains zoom by under the upper busway of Forest Hills. If you're close to the bridge you can actually feel the suction as it departs.

Now that the Christmas vacation is over Forest Hills will be overrun by the droogs.

Maybe this is why drivers blow through red light there all the time?

You don't have to be an expert in obscure government jurisdiction issues to know that this should be reported directly to the T rather than the city.

The clock works now?!?!

It is right four times a day.

(one that is not running at all) is right twice a day.
How would you even come up with four times a day? Because the clock has four faces?
a clock that is running but not giving the correct time is never correct. Not once, twice or four times a day.

An 'broken' analog clock running three times as normal (which is possible if the mechanism is damaged) would show the correct time four times in an actual day.

Laws of physics and logic are confusing. Can we stick to ideology?

Convinced that people will find anything to complain about at this point.

People complaining about people using the city's complaint system to file complaints.

Is people complaining about people using the city's complaint system to file complaints that don't involve the city. I wonder if they think the city will forward the complaint to the correct agency for some reason? I'd call that wishful thinking.

Save the clock tower!

To be reasonable here, has that clock ever been accurate for any length of time?

So if you really want to have some fun tell the complainers they are looking at the wrong side of the clock.
