Police: Saudi student arrested on charges of being an asshole
Boston Police report arresting a Suffolk University student from Saudi Arabia who they say was hanging out in the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental in a bathrobe and nothing else, threatening to pummel officers like he did to a hotel worker who had tried to escort him out.
Officers responding to the Boylston Street hotel around 2:45 a.m. on Thursday found Saud Alsharif, 22, on a lobby couch, police say:
As officers approached, officers noted that the suspect was wearing a bath robe which, because it was untied, exposed the suspect's genitalia. Officers also noted that the suspect, due to his glassy eyes, appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. Upon seeing the officers, the suspect stated, "Do I have to beat you up as well?" As a result of the threats made, officers, for their own safety, made the decision to place the suspect in handcuffs. As officers were in the process of handcuffing the suspect, the suspect attempted to head butt one of the officers.
Officers eventually got him under control and down to D-4 where he was booked. When asked if he had any medical conditions they should be aware of, he allegedly replied: "Just cocaine and plenty of it." He was booked on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and being disorderly.
Innocent, etc.

Au revoir, Kamal.
Time for a bit of the old deportation.
"Saudi"
Why is it pertinent that he is Saudi?
Where a person is from is
Where a person is from is always in these things. Usually it's a city or state, in this case, it's a country.
On the other hand, I hate it when news accounts present all of the facts of a story. C'mon, Adam, can't you leave some stuff out, just for fun?
Rich foreign students behaving badly
I admit it: The topic fascinates me, on top of my obvious fixation on more generic stories about students behaving badly - and out-of-towners behaving badly. Especially when it comes to people from a place like Saudi Arabia, where I'm guessing you'd have to think twice (or more often) to do some of the stuff they do here:
If he was home and acted like
If he was home and acted like that, he might be beheaded in the main square. The warning given to Americans entering Saudi Arabia by their embassy is "The penalty for drug dealing is death."
Actually, if you'd ever spent any time in Saudi Arabia
...you'd know that children of privilege like this, ahem, *personage* manage to behave exactly this badly and worse, and never suffer the harsh punishments of Sharia law. As long as you're connected to the royal family, you can get away with pretty much anything. That's obviously what this spoiled little shit is used to.
So what you're saying is...
....Saudia Arabia is a lot like the US after all!
Spoiled brat children of well-connected rich people don't suffer the consequences of their actions. Sounds about right.
Local universities welcome these type of international students because they pay cash for their tuition. None of that cumbersome Financial Aid paperwork to deal with like the other students. I'll bet they "donate" to he university over and above their tuition cost as well.
Mexican newspapers
always refer to the "stupid Americanos" when reporting on an incident.
Daddy's Ritz rich baby?
This is ringing a bell. Isn't this one of the brothers whose Saudi prince father bought a penthouse for at the Ritz/Taj(can't remember where, exactly), and who have been making their neighbors' lives miserable w/ coke parties and hallway hookers?
correction
Actually, the guys who are causing problems at the Ritz are not from the Saudi royal family. They are Egyptian and from a family called Talaat. The father was in an OJ Simpson like case for killing a "singer" from Lebanon in Dubai, singer being a term for prostitute.
Here is the story:

Being an asshole?
Why? Did he turn around? Sounds like he was being more of a dick.
Classic...
"Just cocaine and plenty of it."
I*'m still laughing over that.
No indecent exposure charge?
Wonder if this apparently rich and entitled cretin will face any real sanctions.
He appears to be on Facebook,
at least for the moment. "Bored to death"- what a maroon.
Money = Power
This person is a Saudi national. Saudi Arabia is economically a very strong country and being a top oil exporter, it can shake the world, even if they stop oil exports for a few days.
Next, anywhere in the world, if there is a Saudi consulate / embassy or mission, and a Saudi national needs help, then help is immidiately offered and the matter gets sorted out through the diplomatic channels.
Next, Saudi diplomats are always extended support anywhere in the world, as the country holds tremendous clout, due to it's oil export status and it's wealth.
They are the big boss ... period.
No one can mess with a Saudi national anywhere in the world.
And if a Saudi national messes around, he can find his way out.
It is as simple as this.
why why ... its always a
why why ... its always a indian to lick the balls of a rich...
please i am tired of seeing my countrymen so easily fascinated with money and power
