The Ashmont area is making a comeback with a beautiful station, development and fine food establishments, unfortunately the plaza area of the station has become a haven for junkies and the teenage gangstas who rule the night.

Rule the night? This happened at 6pm. Kind of scary - I was transferring through there at almost the same time.

It's a completely different world it seems like sometimes, directly west of Ashmont station, even just a few yards. Dorchester Ave around Ashmont has greatly improved through the past few decades though.

Call the MBTA Transit Police! It's their area. Boston police as well. Our taxes pay for it.

Shorty fails to talk about the fact that the men shot ended up at the corner of Radford lane & Carruth Street in a car , on the other side of ashmont station. Car was riddled with bullet holes in the windshield. Was a little odd seeing a homicide investigation on Carruth St.
