Roxbury toddler rushed to hospital after trauma; homicide unit brought in just in case

UPDATE: He died.

A 3-year-old was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious at 23 Alpine St. around 9:45 p.m., Boston EMS Incidents reports.

The homicide unit was called in as a precaution due to the child's critical condition. The house was sealed while police awaited a search warrant.
