A woman was found stabbed at Newbury and Gloucester streets in the Back Bay around 9:45 p.m. Injuries did not appear life threatening.

We have very good trauma surgeons in Boston and after awhile, word came that she was in stable condition and so homicide detectives did not need to be called in.
