Armed robbery, attempted carjackings in Coolidge Corner

UPDATE: The Tab reports Foot Locker employees told the victim in the first incident not to call police - and that he was robbed inside the store, not outside as he initially told police.

Around 4:16 p.m., a teen was held up at gunpoint at 319 Harvard St.:

Victim reported that while riding his bike home he was approached by two Hispanic males who impeded his path with their vehicle and by opening the cars doors made it so he was immobilized. At that point the victim reported that one of the Hispanic males took a fighting stance and made reference to this assault being a robbery. When the victim revisited [Ed: resisted?] the other suspect pulled out a black handgun from his waist band and pointed it at the victim while he emptied his pockets. The other suspect held the victim at bay with a large folding knife, the then suspects fled with the victim cell phone which was valued at $450. The suspects were described as Hispanic males both between the ages of 15-18yrs. The driver was described as medium build approximately 5'7 tall with wavy black hair and a long ponytail. The second suspect is described as about 6" tall with a skinny build, a small pony tail and a tattoo on his right hand.

Then, shortly after 9 p.m., four teenagers were arrested at Longwood Avenue and Marshall Street on a variety of charges:

Geez, if he's only 6 inches tall, he's going to be hard to find. Still, the pony tail should help.
