An appreciation of the MIT chapel
Nate Phillips admires it, but says you have to go inside the 48 Mass. Ave. building for the full effect since the outside is basically a completely uninviting windowless brick cylinder.

Reminds me of
the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche in Berlin; a building with a rather plain exterior (except for the preserved ruins of the old church, destroyed during WWII) with a truly beautiful interior which uses natural light through stunning blue glass walls.
