The New York Post reports that New York University, where some Bostonians go, will be holding its graduation ceremonies this year in Yankee Stadium:
Sox fan Michael Schachter is upset over the new venue, saying: "It's unreasonable to associate such an important honor and momentous occasion with a sports franchise that has been synonymous with evil for over 100 years."
The Washington Square News, which broke the story, has more:
"If that happens to me, I will cry," said CAS junior and lifelong Sox fan Rachel Chapman.

This is the last year of Yankee Stadium
before it is torn down. Despite being a Red Sox fan, I'd jump at the opportunity to have a graduation ceremony there.
Some people are petty. Some
Some people are petty.
Some people should be happy that they (or their parents) were able to afford an NYU education.
One practical question - what will they do if it rains?
One practical answer:
Get wet.

What, New York University should hold graduation at Fenway?
If you dislike New York *that much*, maybe pick a school in a different state.

It's an opportunity to...
...wear sox gear on the field at Yankee Stadium - they should be psyched! It's like a Jew beaning able to pray at the al-Aksar Mosque. OK, not really, but damn. Like the other people said, be happy that you got to go to NYU and have a huge moment of your lifetake place at one of the most historic sports stadiums in the world.
