change it back to South Cove?
When the T first built this station (about 20 years before it actually opened), I believe the intended name was 'South Cove'. Perhaps they should go back to that.
If they change it to 'Tufts Medical Center', some newcomers or tourists will inevitably go there looking for the main Tufts campus.

and does it matter if the MBTA does change the name of the T stop? Many locals will still refer to it as NEMC (often pronouncing it "Neh-muk"), just as "Hynes" is still "Auditorium".
