Does that mean we can expect

Does that mean we can expect a folk song about this whole thing?

Rollin', rollin', rollin'

WBZ radio reports the box car rolled three miles from a lumber yard, at which MBTA police are even now investigating to see how in the world the box car escaped. Human error, they suspect.

Sir Topham Hatt was most cross!

By SwirlyGrrl | Wed, 03/26/2008 - 8:01pm

He scolded Lumby the Lumber car for his naughty adventure without an engine.

Thomas was embarrassed. Bust my Buffers! he cried: One of my freight cars has gotten loose! Oh the shame!" Soon James showed up with the works cars to clear the mess from the main line. Henry took Edward's passengers to safety, while Gordon helped the injured Edward limp back to the shed for repairs.

Confusion and delay

Though I'd have hated to have seen the face of Conrad the Commuter Rail Train after it got smooshed by Lumby.

A Hero's Welcome

Conrad was very worried after the accident. "Oh, he said. I hope my driver is okay!".

Gordon asked "but didn't he jump clear before the crash?"

"Oh no", Conrad replied, "He stayed in the cab and stopped the train. He was trying to protect the passengers!"

"Well then!" Gordon exclaimed. "We must tell Sir Topham Hatt right away! He'll make sure that your driver gets a hero's welcome".

Kudos to him

It's nice to know there are some people working on the T who take their jobs seriously. No, make that do them superlatively.
