At first, Marcy thought the thing on the inbound side of the Red Line at South Station was a gray mitten. Then she realized it was a dead rat. Today, she reports on RatWatch, Day 11.

There's been one on the
There's been one on the tracks of the outbound red line platform at downtown for close to two months now. My husband delights in checking how "deflated" it is. I just stand way the hell back from the yellow line so I don't catch an accidental glimpse.
