Now the turkeys are interbreeding with other species

Possible turkey/peacock hybrid spotted in Littleton; what happens when they start breeding with coyotes?

Turkey day?

I went up to my folks' house today and my father showed me photos he shot of a male turkey dancing in the front yard.. The turkey spread his tail feathers and thumped his feet on the ground for a group of hens nearby.

I wonder if turkeys will mate with peafowl... And where the heck in Littleton would there be peafowl to mate with turkeys?

Edit: My research tells me that peafowl are related to pheasants, so it could be a pheasant/peafowl hybrid spotted..

Relax, Adam!

It's probably just an an escaped male peacock. There is at least one place out that way which has them.

And at least one escapee has already been spotted out that way!

There have been absolutely no reports of attacks. So there!
