Apparently, Fresh City thinks the same thing applies to their wraps. Jocular Schlemiel reports he was grateful the chain had a Passover menu - until he noticed it included shrimp and rice.

Ass steak not kosher?
Okay, I am flummoxed. Beef cut from near a cow's arse is not considered kosher for Passover? Is this guy Sephardic? ;-) (Just kidding.) Seriously, I'm not especially observant and was not brought up in a kosher home (thank you, Reform Judaism!), but my parents both kept kosher for at least some part of their youth and I thought I was reasonably well informed about what is and isn't kosher (for Passover and otherwise). I have never, ever heard anything to suggest that some arse parts of an animal that otherwise meets kashrut standards could be considered trayf, for Passover or anything else. I know, I should probably leave this comment at that blog, but I hate it when people are pounced upon for their posts just because we random visitors stop by to bitch and moan, so you folks are the lucky winners.
