Another 40something woman backed into in the Back Bay
This time, it was a woman walking across the driveway of the Sheraton on Dalton Street shortly after 10 p.m., yesterday, Boston Police report, adding this incident had a better ending than the last such incident - she's expected to survive.
As is the woman run down by a motorcycle around 8:20 p.m. yesterday at King and Adams street in Dorchester, driven by a guy who, police say, sped off in a panic when asked to pull over by a couple of officers because he doesn't have a license. In this case, police arrested the operator, Leigh Perry, 36, of Dorchester, on a variety of charges.
Also yesterday, police arrested Reynold Best, 42, of Randolph - who, on seeing his illegally parked car getting hitched up to get towed away on Bismarck Street in Mattapan yesterday afternoon, allegedly pulled a knife on the tow operator, then stole a GPS unit and car jack out of the truck, the latter which he then used to dent the truck:
When asked to explain how the victim's GPS system ended up in his car, the suspect stated, "He was taking something of mine so I took something of his."
Innocent, etc.
