The punctuation looks good to me, actually - not everyone insists on the application of the serial ("Oxford") comma. Although slightly awkward for a short sign, "Washington St., Edleston Sq. & Dudley Sta." is correct punctuation as far as I can tell.

Or are you talking about the spelling?

a bit of egification

here ya go, verbal.

Yes, but...

...I can't imagine someone heading to Egleston Sq., reading that sign, and getting completely lost by searching for Edleston Sq.

It is indeed a misprint, but what concerns me more about the signage on the MBTA, both visually and aurally, especially on the Red Line, is where announcements are often made for the complete wrong stops.

The T is never going to be perfect, and the replacement of a 'g' with a 'd' is not going to make the world explode.

But Agam, I'm still dlag you pointeg out that drammar error. :-)

This photo didn't show up while reading the RSS feed. Weird.

At least it's not Eggleston

At least it's not Eggleston - that used to show up on maps occasionally.

It's not hand-lettered,

I used to think that those foamboard signs they installed in the stations during the DNC were tacky. Now, you've shown us signs that are beyond tacky...just plain s**tty.

Those could have been put up by anyone. Even if they were real T-approved signs, the duct taped one is just asking to fall down easily in heavy wind and/or rain.

Fixed!

I was there today. The T corrected the spelling error.

in the Arnold Arboretum. They had a sign covered up, but the covering had slipped half-off; my wife and I looked and saw that they had misspelled the word rhododendron. (The sign was missing the H.)
