Only $9! Oh, well, yeah, it is a mile and a half away from the park.

$9 is good for that area
and they have those new rickshaw things to bring you to fenway...better than spending $40+ and getting blocked in
That garage actually does
That garage actually does that every night if you go in after 6pm and leave before 7am... max charge is $9.
That's also only a couple
That's also only a couple blocks from the green line--which gets you right to Fenway--although certainly driving in, parking, and riding the green line during game nights all together is a pretty unpleasant triumvirate of traveling horrors.
Fenway Parking
I've got a parking space renting for $25 on game days.
It's in a prime location that's only a couple of blocks walk to the ballpark with no limitation on the number of hours you park that day.
Plenty of free Fenway parking...
My house is about a mile from Fenway Park. My block-long residential street always has plenty of parking spaces, and it's not resident parking. No, I'm not going to tell you where I live (not that it would be super hard to figure out with a little google-fu, I'm sure), but I'm just saying that it's not hard to find FREE parking that's closer to the park than Clarendon Street.
(And yes, I realize that the people who pay for parking aren't people who live in the city or likely know the city very well.)
