Sk8tr Boi vs. street preacher

Skater dude tries to mock street preacher yelling to an audience of, apparently, nobody, on Tremont by the Common, but the preacher guy wasn't taking the bait and dude runs out of mocking moves after awhile, so it's probably a good thing a Boston park ranger pulled up and told him to knock it off because by then he was just sort of standing there like a lamer, even if you do have to wonder if park rangers have nothing better to do than drive on the sidewalk.

Is that preacher Samuel

Is that preacher Samuel Jackson? Preparing for a new movie role perhaps? Seriously sounds just like him.

No wonder the parks are dumps

Seriously, the rangers have nothing better to do than tell a kid he can't make fun of someone else?

Maybe

Maybe, just maybe, a ranger just happened to be ambling by, noticed what was going on, and figured he'd do the kid a favor and suggest to the kid that he might want to stop making a complete ass out of himself. Maybe.

That was no ambling ranger

It was some guy who couldn't be bothered to get out of his Jellystone Park "cruiser" and drove up to the guy. On the sidewalk. Now, granted, the sidewalk's pretty wide there, but I'm not sure Ranger Smith should be driving on the sidewalk to begin with.

I bet he considered it carefully

& figured it was OK since the sidewalks were over "original" Boston, and not that filled-in Back Bay or something. ;-)

Or those sidewalks in Bay Village that say like, "don't park here cause the sidewalk is hollow"- ever seen those? People park on them anyway all the time, and I admit to hoping one of these days someone comes back and sees a small crater where their car used to be.
