If they're calling me, it must be important

Did anybody in Boston not get a call last night from the National Institutes of Health about a hearing on BU's Deadliest Things Alive project in the South End?

Just in case, it's on Oct. 14, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley St.

We got the call in JP too.

We got it in Southie

Got it in Newton

See also Davis Square LJ and b0st0n LJ and especially my friend Siderea's LJ.

I thought I got it because I share the name with a somewhat famous doctor in Boston. I got a party invitation intended for him once. When I saw the Maryland area code and the "health" ID, my first fear was that a family member was in the hospital.

I had the same thought. If they are calling, it must be important.

I figured at first it was because my wife used to work at BMC.

No call received here in JP.
