Chuck Turner: FBI tried to set him up in a Wilkerson sting

The Jamaica Plain Gazette interviews Turner; he says an undercover FBI agent visited his City Hall office with a hidden camera. Turner also compares the way the FBI dealt with Wilkerson and him to the way the FBI went after Martin Luther King in the 1960s.

This guy doesn't have a political playbook, he just reads out of the DSM-IV...
FBI as "evil institution"
Chuck Turner may have some legitimate basis for his statement.
A+B does not necessarily equal C
1 - The FBI went after King.
2 - The FBI office in Boston, as exemplified by Connolly, was corrupt.
That does not, however, therefore mean that
3 - The FBI went after Wilkerson because of the racism of a) a director who is long dead and b) the evilness of an agent who was in jail long before Wilkerson first met with CW.

If Wilkerson wasn't stuffing cash in her bra, she wouldn't have anything to fear from the eeeeeeevil F.B.I.

For the paranoid mind, the logic is perfect. The first case supports all future cases. Any doubts are either naive or part of the plot. I recommend Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco for the best look at conspiracy theory logic I know of.
turner did not compare
just as a point of clarification, Turner is not attributed as the source of the comparison between himself/Wilkerson and MLK Jr.
It reads to me like more of a general declarative by the author about some concerns people have had about the FBI.
Not directly
But he is quoted as calling the FBI "evil" and saying "As far as their behavior with me, it shows me [the FBI is] still an organization that seems to focus on trying to take black politicians down."
