what a maroon
What baloney - the author of that goofy rant must live in an alternate reality, because none of the local TV broadcasts (nor the National Weather Service) forecast that the rain would be out of eastern MA before this morning's commute - quite the opposite.
I think she just didn't bother paying attention to what the weatherpersons were actually saying yesterday, nor bothered to check any of the live dopplers available on line for herself. And rather than admit that she goofed when she got caught out in the rain, she tried to blame someone else.
(Btw, www.wxnation.com/boston is a good accumulator for a variety of weather sites).

I did read the blog entry accurately. She complained about getting rained on while at the Ashland Resevoir before noon on Sunday, and then needing to use windshield wipers today (aka Monday) at 9:15am. Neither of those precip episodes should have been considered unlikely given the details of this weekend's local/NWS forecasts.
