The age-old debate: Cannolis from Mike's or the Modern?

Jen can't decide, but says the cannolis at Mike's have one advantage - if you buy so many that you can't eat them all at once:

I say go with Maria's!! The cream is sweeter and the shells are light and flaky. Way better than both Modern and Mikes...although she used to work for Modern =)
Sweeter?
I know a lot of people who prefer Maria's cannoli over both Modern and Mike's (I'm a lifelong Modern fan myself, having tried all three many times), but most of them argue that the ricotta is superior because it's less sweet, not sweeter.

I think it will take a couple from each bakery, though, to be extra sure which one I really like.
No substitute for research, after all!
(FTR, I live within walking distance of Modern, so I usually get a fresh one and eat it while waiting for a bus or walking home).
