BadTransit posts another cheery tale, this time involving a Green Line driver who thinks everybody's out to cheat the T, when he's just being an idiot.

This Happens to me too
I am in the same boat. The T operators only seem to open all the doors going inbound during rush hours. During the day and after the evening rush hour, I have to board at the front doors too. Its too bad the T cannot get its own employees to follow its directions.
I thought it would fix itself, but it clearly has not. I board at Resevoir and get frustrated with the inconsistency with the boarding procedures. I don't think its too tough for drivers to follow.

Other Riverside Oddities
Riding the D Line several weeks ago a station attendant had my girlfriend and I show him our passes. She had a Charlie Card, so he validated it. I have a pass on a Charlie Ticket. When the train arrived, the back doors did open, but the attended demanded that my girlfriend now board at the back while I board at the front. It was silly that I couldn't board at that back as I had a visable monthly pass, but it was even sillier for him to split us up on a crowded train by insisting he validate her card. None of this makes any sense, and applying the rules inconsistantly is only making things worse.
