Susan Passoni vs. Bill Linehan

Susan Passoni of the South End topped a seven-person field in today's preliminary election in District 2 to replace the late Jimmy Kelly. She'll face off against Bill Linehan of South Boston in a special election on May 15.

The Globe says that 4400 out of the 5300 votes cast came from South Boston, meaning only 900 came from Chinatown and the South End.

What a shame that so few people from my neighborhood voted. It's just pathetic.

I guess they just don't give a damn.

Doesn't have population numbers, but I'm betting there are more people in South Boston than the South End.
