Thanks to John Tobin quitting like he did and thanks to differences in state and city elections rules, voters in District 6 get two extra elections this year:
Oct. 19: Preliminary to reduce the number of candidates to 2.
Nov. 16: Final election to select somebody to replace Tobin until next year's regular city-council elections.

I went to high school with this kid, and if I remember corectly, Matt O'Malley was in out class as well. Therefore, and NOT because of the ridiculousness of his ad, I can't take his campaign seriously.
