Another person struck, killed by commuter-rail train north of Boston
By adamg on Wed, 04/21/2010 - 8:57am
UPDATE: Sounds like suicide by train - Martin Clinton was at the station and saw the person jump.
This time, in Winchester, Channel 25 reports. The Lowell line is, of course, now experiencing major delays.
On Monday, a boy, 13, was struck and killed by a train while walking on the tracks.

Wrong W Town?
MBTA.com says "medical emergency in Winchester"
Yes, Winchester
Fixed, thanks.
Appears to be suicide. The
Appears to be suicide. The first Tweet about it was from someone on the platform at Winchester who saw the guy jump right in front of him.

(if there is away to link to the specific tweets and not the guy's entire twitter page, then feel free to edit link)
Linking to tweets
If you click on the time under the tweet (e.g. '34 minutes ago') that takes you to a page containing just that single tweet.
Left link to entire feed
Because he reports on the incident in more than one tweet.
Is there any way to link to a range of tweets?
e.g. "all tweets by @foo posted on 4/20/2010" or "all tweets tagged #mbta between 10 am and 2 pm" ?
Tweets. Date ranges. Problematic link use.
Please provide, in plain ASCII format, the stegosauragraphic output of the Twitter feed herein.
A little more detail from the Globe
Train hits, kills man at Winchester Station
He was hit by a train from Haverhill which passed through the Winchester station without stopping there.
My recollection is that passengers cannot cross the tracks at this station -- there is a barrier fence between the inbound and outbound tracks, which are reached by separate stairways and ramps.
Martin Clinton is apparently an asshole
I'm sure the guy's family will love to see him described as "meat."
Martin might not have been
Martin might not have been thinking that his tweet would be read by more than just his usual circle of followers. And he did witness it first hand, which probably was very traumatic.
(Note: I am not Martin, nor do I now him, I am only guessing)
