The bus wasn't the only thing that was jerking between Dudley and Ruggles Friday afternoon

MBTA Transit Police report arresting a man for allegedly masturbating on a 28 bus as it traveled between Dudley and Ruggles Friday afternoon.
According to a police report, Donnie McLean, 46, snuck on the rear of the bus at Dudley, sat near a woman, put his hands in his pants and "began to motion it up and down in a stroking manner." The woman said she got up and moved toward the front of the bus. McLean, she said, followed her, sat across from her and started up again, only this time he made sure to unzip his pants and turn to face her so she could get a full view.
At Ruggles, she fled the bus and found a couple of transit cops, one of whom reported McLean's pants were unzipped when he started talking to him about the incident.
McLean was charged with open and gross lewdness.
Innocent, etc.

Well thanks to the Supreme
Well thanks to the Supreme Judicial Court (ruling earlier this year), the charge will be tossed out because he never exposed his actual penis to her. I know it says that she got a "full view" but it doesn't say if it was of him with his hands in his pants or of him pulling his penis from his pants. Ridiculous.

Sorry for not quoting from the police report in full, but it mentions those, along with the woman's "shock," which is another criterion set by the SJC.

Also, according to boston.com, he's a registered offender with two prior convictions for similar behavior.
tell the driver
I don't know why she didn't tell the driver. Why move, flee the bus and look for a transit cop? Or better yet, announce the fact loudly to the whole bus and make the perv flee himself.
