Free Concert No. 6, Sunday, August 15, 2010

Jason Howard leads The Rockport Legion Band this week. Planned music includes selections from both "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Dances with Wolves"; marches by Hall, Sousa, Jewell, and Huff; a suite of ballet music by Jacques Offenbach; song medleys by Vincent Youmans and Johnny Mercer; some swing, some ragtime, some Italian songs and some show tunes from Broadway.

The Band performs at the Back Beach Bandstand in Rockport. All concerts in this 77th Summer Season begin at 7:00 P.M.and are free, as always. Please bring your own seating and some money for popcorn and tonic. Copies of the RLB CD will also be available.
