Search for Eugene Losik is a page by and for friends of the man last seen in front of the Marriott Long Wharf early Saturday morning. A candlelight vigil was planned for tonight in Christopher Columbus Park, next to the hotel and where Losik was last seen.
Losik is 25, 5'11" and white, with blue eyes, blond hair and a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a black mid-length jacket, a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and black dress shoes. Anyone who's seen him should contact District A-1 detectives at 617-343-4248.

Know what would really help?
Surveillance cameras. Put one on every street corner and in every back alley in Boston. Leave no stone unturned. I would like for every public square foot in this city to be on camera 24/7. Let's spend stimulus money on this instead of a (expletive) parking garage in Revere.
yeah, so when a policeman
yeah, so when a policeman gets his heart broken by a girl, he can then track her new boyfriend and obsessively stalk them. And all the other wonderful abuses of power that have been seen in places that do this type of thing.
Will, do you really trust
Will, do you really trust government enough not to abuse a system like that?
Here's an idea, at 25 you know what you’re like when you get stark drunk. If you can’t control yourself, probably not the best idea to do it in an unfamiliar place around water. Hopefully this kid turns up, but I'm guessing they'll find him somewhere out around Logan like all the others who end up in the Harbor.
Yes, when you're 25 you know
Yes, when you're 25 you know what you're like when you get stark drunk which is why Gene went for a walk with a friend (Rick) to sober up. They got back to the hotel safe and sound, hung out for a little and parted. Rick says that Gene had sobered up when he last saw him. There is no need to make assumptions about the alcohol level and rationality of a person you don't even know.
If you can't voice an informed opinion on the internet, then maybe you shouldn't post.
"Sobered up"
The amount drunk and the timing involved here would dictate whether or not he "sobered up." It takes the body an hour to process 12 ounces of beer or an ounce of liquor. It's easy to "feel sober" and still be quite impaired, which would make hanging out by a pier a really bad idea. Sadly, this happens too often in this town.
