We were all thinking it
I am glad someone went for it.
's all right?
's all right!
A bar with a Texas name...
...That serves no Texas beer. Being a New England Texan myself I love the idea of having a piece of Texas right in Boston. Unfortunately it's about as genuine as a Texas Roadhouse in any part of the country. Considering the wide variety of beers they serve here both locally and imported from all over Europe you'd think they could at least have one of the many Texas beers on their menu... Boo on them. I am however glad to see they are putting in a LoneStar Taco next door.
Err
I don't think the Deep Ellum guys ever had any intention of being an authentic Texan bar. They do associate with the indie music and arts scene down in Deep Ellum. Despite the lack of BBQ and Texan beer, Deep Ellum is pretty damn awesome.
Shiner and Lone Star...
are pure swill.
yeah seriously..
..ARE there any beers in Texas worth drinking? If so, I'm surprised that nobody has a distribution deal with those faux-texas steakhouse chains.
Gambrinus is even located in Texas; why can't they make that happen, I wonder.
