I got on 501 market St stop at 8:10, I'm now sitting at the Y, still in traffic and it's 9:10

Isn't there some sort of power outage going on as well? All the street lights were out last night, and the street was blocked off.

They closed Washington street and sent all the traffic down Faneuil Street, which has spots too narrow for two cars to pass, much less two busses. The T website noted the diversion last night; you'd have hoped that the city might have declared the Faneuil a temporary no parking zone starting at 7am or something rather than letting it become a parking lot.
