Namely, what it's like to spend the night in the District A-1 lockup.
Boston Police report the Beatrice brothers - Michael, Nicholas and Aaron - were refused entry to the Liberty Hotel shortly after midnight due to "high levels of intoxication." Instead of going quietly into that good night, however, they stuck around the entrance, allegedly performing such hijinks as flicking a cigarette at a hotel worker, police say, adding:
While approaching the scene, the detail officer observed another member of the party (Michael Beatrice, 28, of San Rafael, CA) urinating on a motor vehicle parked near the front entrance of the hotel. When told the decision to urinate in full view of several patrons and people passing by was a bad one, Michael Beatrice stated, "I wasn't doing anything. What's up with you cops out here?" When told again that he and the remainder of the party needed to exit the area, Michael Beatrice, presumably speaking on behalf of the group, stated, "We ain't leaving."
BPD officers on scene begged to differ, and as they attempted to remove Michael Beatrice for open and gross lewdness and disturbing the peace, the other two began pushing and shoving officers - with one using his elbows specifically - police say. Rather than break up the family unit, police arrested them as well, on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and aiding the escape of a person in lawful custody.
Innocent, etc.
