One of the leaders of the Boston crankerati has had quite enough of carping about that wedding:
Think of this wedding as a celebration of how love can empower people to face any challenge and overcome any obstacle.
So by all means, stay dry-eyed, and keep your distance if you must. But lets' not let all the hype obscure the true meaning of the event.
Love lives, even among British royalty. And we should all be grateful that it does.

I was going to say that Keller's little whine was all about getting a handful of royal-related clicks this week, when I realized... well, duh.
Why do people always assume I'm more devious than I am?

As opposed to assuming I just am constantly looking for ways to bring "The Princess Bride" or "Airplane" into the discussion?

Don't we all look to him for our relationship and other social advice? Who better to deliver such truths than a cross between Dr. Ruth and Oscar the Grouch?

"The true meaning of event?"
Me thinks that the true meaning of the event is the hype.
People who love each other get married every day, but with visions of Williams' mother dancing in their heads, American TV news divisions are pulling out all the plugs for full bore coverage.
