A three-alarm fire that broke out around 3 a.m. at 40 Westwind Rd. left an elderly man dead and sent four residents and one firefighter to the hospital, the Boston Fire Department reports. Two MBTA buses were brought in to shelter other residents until they could return to their apartments or find alternate housing.
The fire, confined to a single fourth-floor apartment, did an estimated $250,000 in damage, the department says. The cause of the fire remains under investigation; an autopsy is planned on the dead resident.

Colombia?
Like the country?
Really?
No, Columbia, like gem of the ocean ...
I blame this one on being pre-caffeinated - at least I got it right in the headline, rather than in the grammatically awkward clause I just deleted.
