The sinkhole that ate Inman Square or, at least, nibbled on it
By adamg on Fri, 06/01/2012 - 8:26am
Roving UHub photographer Bob Meier happened upon an expanding sinkhole in Inman Square in Cambridge last night, reports:
It started out as a sinkhole about the size of a manhole cover. I first saw it around 6 pm yesterday when it was being blocked by two Public Works pickup trucks. By 9:30 (when I took the photo) they upgraded to orange cones and caution tape.

Hmmm
So that's what was going on when I came through there last night around 10pm.
There has been a dip and a bad chunk of pavement there for some time.
How many Somerville Public Works does it take to fill in a hole?
Seven.
One to represent the union.
One to hand out Curtatone re-election materials.
Five to stand around with their hands in their pockets, talking about the Celtics and how wow, that's a big hole.
How else does Somerville end up with the shittiest roads in the area? The only worse road would be Belmont.
How many anons does it take
How many anons does it take to figure out that that is Cambridge not Somerville?
One is certainly not enough.
How many anon posters does it take to read a map?
Or, in this case, a photo and a web page? Stellabella Toys is at 1360 Cambridge Street in Cambridge.
