Aaron Hernandez now innocent, etc.

UPDATE: Charged with murder in the death of Odin Lloyd of Dorchester.

Taken away in handcuffs this morning, as the media hordes decamp from outside his home to caravan over to the nearest district court to find out just what he's been charged with in connection with the murder of a Dorchester man.

If he was just Aaron Hernandez instead of Aaron Hernandez of the Patriots, the media wouldn't give a fuck.

Sorry about that. No, I wasn't trying to be funny; I just didn't hit control-C hard enough, I guess.

...by 'hilarious' you mean 'fucking depressing.'

He's also been cut by the Pats. I guess he's not up to the character standards exemplified by Donte Stallworth and Aqib Talib.

Because neither of those guys were arrested during their time on the Patriots.

As a reminder, Hernandez isn't innocent until proven guilty, he's presumed innocent until proven guilty. The fact of his innocence or guilt is already set. We just presume one unless the other is proven.

When Adam posts about a criminal being arrested, etc. on UHub, he will always end the post with a comment about how anyone he mentioned is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Over time and posting numerous such stories, he gradually shortened it to "Innocent, etc." and regular readers know what he means by it.

The headline could probably use quotes around the phrase since it's a coined phrase and not meant to be taken literally, but as I say, regular readers know what it meant.

brady will step to the line in september minus welker, gronkowski, lloyd, woodhead, and now this idiot.

if i had 40 million dollars i would never go out. invite the strippers over if you must. why be stupid enough to get into any kind of situation like this? to show you are hard? street cred? that looks like a pretty nice fuckin street, dont think you have to execute someone to get respect around there.

good riddance stupid.

but if you're a moron, like he apparently is, you'd probably end up shooting one of the strippers in your home, or fighting w/one of your buddies. It's too bad, from all the media reports I had read, it sounded like he was keeping his head down and staying out of trouble. Guess not. Hope he put some $ away for his daughter.

Sounds like someone is buying the "Hernandez hung out with a rough crowd and they brought him down" bullshit. Hernandez IS the rough crowd. That was public knowledge when the Pats drafted him. And, if half of what was read at today's arraignment is true, he's a sociopath as well.

much smarter. This guy sounds stupider than those Wall Street guys who kill their lovers on "Law and Order"!

With all that dough , and the offense's future ,and Brady's longevity all connected, krafty should have done the Dez Bryant deal , like the Cowboys did,( The Dallas Cowboys' Adventures in Babysitting Dez Bryant
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1313780-the-dal... ).
And you think Krafty could have started a referral service , with the former cheerleaders or something like that. But , if the Patriots were in another , competitive division , it might be a playoff problem. Nevertheless , its going to be ugly this year.

Omg. I said the same thing. I would never have though that anyone would put killing someone on their bucket list. U are right.......STUPID!

As Calogero laments in '' A Bronx Tale '' , the saddest thing in life is wasted talent.

Who cares Tebow is playing for the Patriots this year. Being religious is worse than murder or something.

Aaron Hernandez is a religious Christian too. He has 3 Christian tattoos on his arm. If you don't believe me read a USA Today article from 2009 the week of the game between Univ of Florida and LSU. Of course since Hernandez wasn't yet tainted with murder the article raves about what a great Christian he is. It goes on about how he attended a Bible Study every morning with the Florida head coach . I haven't seen any criticism of his Christianity in the liberal press so get off your high horse.

and I'm such a bad Christian that I got booted from my church by my pastor a few months ago. I'm a crappy Christian but a pretty good human being. Those characteristics aren't really linked as much as people (especially Christians) like to pretend.

I read the Bible every day. That has nothing to do with whether or not I'm a good Christian or even religious. It means I like to read the Bible.

As for Tim and Aaron hanging out in Florida? This article (admittedly from a gossip site) doesn't seem to indicate they had a particularly profound relationship.

pretty bad at the organized religion thing?

JC himself.

He also didn't talk much about gay sex, god showering wealth on people, and how sinners were terrible people to gawk at. He also wasn't white, and was, gasp, a Jew!

Better not let that info get out. Just saying.

Keeping it real goes wrong...

So was he a responsible gun owner?

up

Nope, he didn't have a single permit to own or carry in this state (might elsewhere?). Nor did he register any of his firearms here. Hence the additional charges today.

But also read that his guns were traced to an authorized gun shop in Florida.

So whats the story? More gun trafficking from legitimate to illegitimate means?
