Wine and grilled cheese proposed for Allston

The Daily Free Press reports Roxy's Grilled Cheese wants to serve beer and wine with its sandwiches at its upcoming bricks-and-mortar place in Union Square in Allston. Only problem: Those pesky state regulations that require it to get a license. Naturally, they have an online petition.

Is their store front location open yet?
I've never eaten at their truck in Cleveland Circle but have heard good things about it and would definitely try out their restaurant.

What good does this petition do? Doesn't there have to be an liquor license for sale for them to buy? The city can't make more licenses up on a printer.

Some neighborhoods have a few left for various reasons. He wouldn't be able to get full liquor, but they don't want it anyway
