No doubt there are decent marketing people, but evidence suggests they don't work at Epicurious

Said evidence consists of two Boston-related tweets from the recipe site this morning, including:
Boston, our hearts are with you. Here's a bowl of breakfast energy we could all use to start today.
Which had a link to a recipe for some crap. Of course, once called, the site deleted the tweets and then posted a new tweet apologizing for the tweets that "seemed insensitive."

Adam, a funnier though more disturbing version of this sort of marketing was noted on Wonkette, which linked to some, erp, "very personal services" ads on Boston Craigslist for people who needed some soothing after yesterday.
No link 'cause I'm at work. Anyone interested can trot over to Wonkette.
