Online petition opposes drug-using, double-parking, jay-walking, butt-smoking, no-good Fisher College students in the Back Bay

Seems Fisher College wants to expand on Beacon Street and some Back Bay residents are organizing to prevent the collapse of western civilization this would bring about.

This is where Emerson College used to be
before they moved to the Theatre District. (Which is why Emerson's student newspaper is still called the Berkeley Beacon.) Is Fisher moving into Emerson's old buildings?
As opposed to
... the booze-using, double-parking, jay-walking, butt-smoking, blue-blooded, well-heeled condo owners of the Back Bay?
Go Fisher JC!
Based on the comments in the signatures alone and not even reading the petition, I am all for the school that used to advertise heavily on the Red Line by asking you to mail in post cards to express your interest in attending, to ooze all over the sacred first block of the Back Bay and infect that former marginal neighborhood with all that learning and stuff, just like Emerson, Bay State, Berklee, Commonwealth School, Simmons, BU, Newman Prep, the obnoxiously named brat school that I can't remember in the Conran's / Waterstone space, have been doing for years.
Books, Kids, Learning. Mon dieu!
NIMBY, that is all.
NIMBY, that is all.
Hey, that's IMBY!
I live in an apartment near Fisher, and our building (and every other in at LEAST the northeast Back Bay) got leafletted with links to the website www.stopfisher.org a couple weeks back - which is basically the same thing as this petition, lots of pearl-clutching. And in this neighborhood, people have a LOT of pearls to clutch. And a lot of spare time to clutch them.
