I wish though that all reporting about them mentioned other areas of Rick's life in which he's a more active contributor. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with people who aren't able to communicate and work and so forth either, but Rick is not one of these folks. He is a college graduate with a professional career. When I mention having met him in a professional capacity years ago, many people who've read mainstream media reports on him seem surprised to learn that he doesn't have an intellectual disability, since he's never quoted and is portrayed just as a dude whose dad pushes him around.

This has always been one of my favorite parts of the marathon.
I hope to see them on the course this last year.
