Last chance to help fix Cambridge Street in Allston

Today is the deadline to help fix Cambridge Street by signing the community letter to MassDOT at http://tinyurl.com/CambridgeStreet.

Please join dozens of residents and advocacy organizations telling MassDOT

1. Do not install a median fence.
2. Make the car lanes and shoulders narrower to create a safe space for bikes and pedestrians.
3. Use a standard push-button stop light in the new crosswalk instead of a flashing yellow
4. Plant trees in the median between Mansfield & Lincoln Streets.
5. Use permanent coloring (not paint) to distinguish the cycletrack from the sidewalk.
